NOW OFFERING COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE!

What is community acupuncture?
Community acupuncture is affordable acupuncture in a group setting. We provide super comfy zero gravity chairs and relaxing music to enhance the treatments even more. In a time when health care costs are rising, this is a way to make acupuncture accessible to everyone. The goal is to provide high quality health care which is affordable.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $40 per session, but a sliding scale is available for those who need it. Payments can be made cash, check or credit card. Also, we accept flex spending credit cards. If you wish to have a digital meridian analysis done, the cost for that is an additional $10.

How is this different from the traditional acupuncture treatments?
Community Acupuncture treatments are simply acupuncture, and acupuncture utilizing only those points on the arms, legs, feet, and head.  They are very effective treatments and while our regular acupuncture treatments have their place, Community Acupuncture is not limited in any way.  Any condition that we regularly treat will respond with either method.

How can you afford to charge so little?
Because we treat lots of people.  What's most important to a community acupuncturist is simply to give many people the chance to receive treatments. Likewise, the business needs to see many people in order to make ends meet.

Plainly said, we want acupuncture to be readily available as a means to help take care of the health of our neighbors and communities.

Do I have to take my clothes off for treatment?
Absolutely not.  Occasionally, we may need to have access to areas just above the knee or up to the shoulder joint, in which case we'd ask you to wear shorts or a tee shirt.

But by and large all it takes to get ready for treatment is to roll up pant legs and shirt sleeves, as points on the lower arms and legs are the most commonly used in community clinics.  No need to take any other clothes off.
