a minority-owned consulting firm in Philadelphia has received a $700,000 contract from the Federal Transit Administration to oversee financial management of the rebuilding effort at the World Trade Center site in New York.
is working with the Lower Manhattan Recovery Office of the FTA. Its job is to monitor and conduct reviews of the financial management systems of transit-related projects on the site. The contracts for those projects have value of more than $5 billion, according to the firm.
Leslie Esdaile-Banks, the director of marketing at said the contract with the FTA was for one year but it is renewable for additional years if needed.
