Project Natal: Controller Free Gaming
Microsoft has unveiled a new project that allows a gamer to interact with the game console — “No Strings (or Controllers) Attached.”
“Introducing Project Natal, a revolutionary new way to play: no controller required. See a ball? Kick it, hit it, trap it or catch it. If you know how to move your hands, shake your hips or speak you and your friends can jump into the fun — the only experience needed is life experience.”
A horizontal bar device is connected to an Xbox 360. Unlike the Wii wand, the Xbox device uses 3-D cameras and microphones to detect a player’s voice and motion.
