Halo 3: ODST (previously known as Halo 3: Recon) is a standalone expansion for the first-person shooter (FPS) video game Halo 3. Players take on the roles of human UNSC soldiers called, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, during the time period before Halo 3. Some people think it is similar to the Star Wars ordering of releases… go back in time midway through the series.
