Designed exclusively for the TX-SV919THX and TX-SV828THX AV receivers, the ED-901 provides 5.1 discrete digital channels: left, center and right in front, left and right surround in the rear, and a sixth channel (the .1 of 5.1), called low-frequency-effects (LFE), to feed one or more subwoofers. Proprietary Lucasfilm Re-Equalization circuitry corrects the tonal errors that occur when playing back sound designed for large theaters. And latest-generation DSP from Motorola offers a 24-Bit data path for greater precision and more processing capacity.
