Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler Falls From Stage
STURGIS, S.D. — The lead singer for Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, was injured and airlifted to the hospital after falling from the stage during a concert. He often dances around with his microphone in a Mick Jagger sort-of way. Steven decorates his microphone stand with scarves and prances to the edge.
Well, like the title to their song, “Livin’ On The Edge” he was living on the edge at the South Dakota Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. After spinning around at the end of the catwalk, he placed his microphone stand down and fell backwards landing on several members of the audience.
Reports are that the injuries are not serious; however, the official Aerosmith website reports, “We will let you know what we know, as soon as we know it.”
This mishap is yet another setback in a series of injuries and maladies that has plague the recent Aerosmith tour.
