It is designed to mount solidly on the shelf behind the headrests and is held in place firmly by the factory strut tie-bar (pre-1994 Miatas lack this tie-bar as a standard feature. It is essential that this bar be obtained from your Mazda dealer and installed prior to the installation of the Stealthbox).

Two 8W6 eight-inch subwoofers in a downfiring sealed enclosure produce incredible bass with the top up or down. The Stealthbox will not affect operation of the convertible top, in addition, the factory tonneau cover fits overthe Stealthbox and snaps onto it.
