chief designer John Tchilinguirian has achieved a unique imaging capability, while maintaining the incredible spaciousness for
which bipolar sound is noted.
He has also markedly reduced the unwanted wraparound effect found in many symmetrical
bipolar speakers, improving coherency and delivering a rock solid image. As a result, Audissey speakers can be placed closer to
room boundaries than bipolar technology has allowed before.
Because the rear-radiating drivers operate in-phase with the direct output from the front, an
omnidirectional effect is achieved. An outstanding balance and a seamless soundstage is maintained throughout the entire
listening area.
The incomparable Audissey tweeter, derived from the Veritas series,
is crossed over at a lower frequency, faithfully reproducing ambience and musical detail.
This unique design results in much better heat dissipation, improved high frequency dynamic range,
and excellent transient performance.
