The Ins and Outs of Our Connoisseur-Series Speaker Line
All our speakers begin with a unique engineering philosophy, specialized design parameters for
each component, and, finally, precision manufacturing. What we put in our speakers is directly related to what comes out of our speakers.

Our exclusive Spherex baffle and aluminum dome tweeter bring a previously unheard
dimension to these high performance speakers, providing a precise timbral balance, a clean, free midrange, extremely detailed mid-bass
and improved soundstage depth. You freefall through musical spaces you've never visited before.
The aluminum dome tweeter itself is incomparable. We produce it with a cloth suspension and
exceptionally light and rigid dome to provide an unparalleled combination of wide dispersion, low distortion and fast decay time. Combined
with a specially designed rear chamber, we achieved and extremely low fundamental resonance. These design breakthroughs allow the
crossover to this tweeter to be at a much lower frequency, producing and unusually uniform dispersion pattern, faithful reproduction of
ambience and musical detail, increased high frequency dynamic range and an open, more natural soundstage.
We've incorporated aluminum into the injection molded cones to achieve the stiffness of a metal
cone, and polypropylene to avoid the associated "ringing" effects. By adding a specially formulated rubber surround for high damping
to this proprietary cone construction, the Connoisseur-Series woofer maintains ultra fast transient characteristics. The result is a clean
and coherent mid-range and improved transparency.
The revolutionary woofers feature a special magnetic structure design which results in very low
harmonic distortion. Bass reproduction is incredibly accurate, while vocals retain their natural character.
The C-6 and C-8 feature a quasi three way crossover network topology which provided smoother
power response and a more stable vertical soundstage than is typically found in dual woofer designs.
The series is styled in high gloss black and rosewood finishes. But, the proof is in the listening.
