Digital Sigma-Delta Modulation
Conventional subwoofers convert as little as 10% of their input energy into sound. The rest
becomes wasted heat. But, Energy ES-Series subwoofers, featuring our proprietary Digital Sigma-Delta Modulation
MOSFET amplifiers convert virtually all of the input energy into sound. Not heat. For more power and maximum SPL.
To improve the sound even more we've dramatically reduced distortion, interference and hum
by isolating the power supply module from the amplifier.

From top to bottom the ES-Series of subwoofers begins with fully discrete MOSFET Class A/B
Amplification; high current amps for fantastic, clean output with dramatically low distortion.
Add an optional EAC external active crossover to any ES-Series subwoofer to achieve
optimum blending with your main speakers.
The ES-Series features Auto Power On/Off. The subwoofer senses and input signal
from the source and switches on instantly. Without a signal, the amplifier automatically goes into "standby" mode.
Muting circuits ensure there are no thumps or noise. The exclusive Energy clipping
protection circuitry (CPC) senses the input signal and automatically adjusts to ensure clear, undistorted bass reproduction. And
thermal protection circuitry provided adds security by keeping your ES-Series subwoofer running cool.
Cabinets, computer designed for optimum performance and aesthetic quality, are finished
in a styled black ash on the ES-8, ES-10 and ES-12. The ES-12 XL, ES-15XL, and ES-18XL feature a hand rubbed high gloss black
lacquer. And all the ES-Series subwoofers are designed for placement in audio racks or in custom installations.
