The RUNCO
LCP-550 is a new generation Liquid Crystal Display
projector using advanced polysilicon LCD display panels
for outstanding picture quality. This compact,
lightweight unit incorporates Faroudja's Picture
Plus (TM) Microchip Technology. This highly precise
Digital Two Dimensional Comb filter aids the LCP-550 in
producing pristinely sharp, detailed, virtually
noise-free images. It also minimizes hanging dot and
cross-color artifacts frequently associated with large
screen displays, while maintaining maximum picture
resolution. This exceptional digital Comb filter is
particularly useful when viewing VHS, SVHS or Cable
signals which tend to have higher noise floors. The
combination of these new refinements with the unit's high
resolution line doubler sets a new benchmark in LCD
projection display quality. When utilized for computer
applications the 550 is capable of 640x480 VGA
resolution. Power zoom and focus features make picture
set-up a real breeze, and the wireless remote control can
also function as an air mouse for computer use.
