The RUNCO
SC-4200 is the first RUNCO video processor to incorporate
world famous Faroudja
video processing technology. The SC-4200 is also the
first video processor to incorporate both a line doubler
and a line quadrupler in the same unit, switchable via
the front panel or the remote control, making it uniquely
versatile. While a laserdisc may look best when line
quadruupled, a DVD disc may actually look sharper and
more detailed when run through the line doubler. With the
RUNCO SC-4200 the choice is yours. Faroudja's Picture
Perfect (TM) Microchip Technology is applied to both the
line doubler and line quadrupler signal paths, making the
detail, color accuracy, and resolution absolutely
state-of-the-art for either mode you choose. The SC-4200
also incorporates two new Faroudja technologies. first,
the adaptive Two-Dimensional Comb Filter for the
elimination of hanging dots and cross color artifacts.
Second, a Two-Dimensional Spatial Detail Spectrum
Expansion circuit maximizes the picture resolution for
unsurpassed resolution and detail.
Component, RGB, S-Video and Composite inputs are
provided for maximum system flexibility in accommodating
a wide variety of video sources. Four custom memories for
each input give the user ultimate flexibility for
customizing the picture controls for each source. With
the SC-4200, RUNCO once again pushes the state-of-the-art
in home theater picture reproduction to new heights.
