Closed Sundays and major holidays

Our clothing consignment shop is located on Louella Court - just around the corner from our Clothing Shop. No appointment is necessary Monday through Friday.

A non-refundable $20 fee entitles the consignor to consign up to 12 items once per business day from mid-August until mid-June.

When you arrive, clothing must be hung on the appropriate hanger (as designated) and if there are others waiting, you will be seen in the order in which you arrive.



Consigning Guidelines:

All clothing must be clean, laundered, wrinkle-free, in season and in-style (within 4 years unless vintage). We will reject any items that smell of smoke or mothballs, are very worn or wrinkled, out of date, or are missing buttons. Please take the time to inspect each item before you bring it in.

Shoes will only be accepted if they are new or show very little wear. Shoes should not be in boxes.

We will accept most types of jewelry that are in good condition. Sterling silver must be polished.

Clothing Consignment reserves the right to limit the number and type of articles accepted. An item may be rejected when it reaches the Clothing Shop. In that event the consignor will be phoned and has the option to pick the item up or donate it.

Clothing is offered for sale for 4 weeks beginning on the consignment date.

Fur Consignment - we will accept furs starting October 15. The consignment period lasts until March 31 and furs must be reclaimed by then. No reduction will be made on furs during this period unless they are unclaimed. Furs must be clean and in good shape with intact linings.

Nothing will be consigned for less than $4.00.

If the Clothing Shop has an abundance of a certain type of item, that item may not be accepted on given days. This will be clearly posted in Clothing Consignment.

Consignor receives 60% of the selling price.

Reclaiming Regulations:

Unsold articles may be reclaimed from The Clothing Shop before 4pm Monday through Friday on or before the Claim Date on your contract. There is no Saturday reclaiming! If the claim date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, you may reclaim on the Friday prior to the weekend.

IMPORTANT: Before reclaiming you must phone the office (610-687-5758) between 9:30am and 11:30am (M,W,F) to determine what has been sold. Please have your consignor number ready when calling.

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST phone the office prior to recaiming your clothing. Shop personnel will NOT check to see what items have sold if you have not called the office first. Once you have located your unsold items you must notify one of our personnel so that they can reclaim your tags.

If you are unable to reclaim your items by the Claim Date, a volunteer or staff member can pull your items for you at a charge of $1.00 per item.

No unsold articles priced $4.00 or less can be reclaimed.

Unsold articles not reclaimed by the Claim Date will become property of the Clothing Shop and sold at 50% off.

Items we DO NOT accept:

Lingerie, pajamas, and nightgowns unless NEW with tags

Nylon Hosiery (even if new)

Bathing suits unless NEW with tags

Shirts/T-shirts with advertising logos/corporate sponsors

Anything with a monogram or personal initials

Maternity clothing
